Anthony Powers · Founder
Anthony Powers brings 24 years of professional fire-service and land-management experience to California Fire Safe Solutions, including 18 years in the wildland fire service and on Interagency Hotshot Crews, followed by six years in municipal fire service. His career has included wildland fire operations, hotshot leadership, land management, fuels and hazard reduction, prescribed fire, incident management, emergency response, structure and community protection, and work throughout the wildland-urban interface.
He founded CaliFSS to translate decades of operational, land-management and emergency-response experience into practical property and community resilience. The company's value extends beyond one individual: CaliFSS combines that operational perspective with deep construction capability, trusted professional relationships and mission-driven partnerships developed through decades of field experience.
Gary Walberg · Construction Leadership
Gary Walberg brings more than 40 years of hands-on construction, building and property development experience to California Fire Safe Solutions. His background spans residential and commercial construction, retrofit, remodel and new construction, multiple construction disciplines, hardscape, landscape, site improvements, property design, project execution, materials, quality control and field problem solving.
That breadth gives CaliFSS practical insight into how structures and properties are built, how existing conditions can be adapted, and how new work can be planned and executed across multiple disciplines. Gary's construction leadership helps turn assessment findings and mitigation strategies into well-planned, buildable solutions - while maintaining durability, function, aesthetics and long-term value.
